Do you offer a maternity wardrobe?
Oh I definitely do! Click below to see my current wardrobe. My silks are so versatile, and fit every size. I only ask that you bring a nude strapless bra and undies to wear.
Do I need to bring newborn clothes or swaddles to the photoshoot??
I provide all swaddles, outfits, headbands, bonnets, and sleepy caps in various colors. I also provide the props, layers, and backdrops.
What happens if my newborn is born early?
Should I wait until the baby is here to book a newborn session?
Why isn't bean bag posing included in the newborn mini package?
Bean bag (or table) posing is where the baby is on fabric and posed with positioners/beans under him/her. It's quite a delicate art. Slow, intricate movements are made to pose the baby without waking her while constantly soothing, but also ensuring he/she's in the best possible position for lighting. Bean bag posing requires significantly more time, because the baby needs to be comfortable (gas-free), full, and sleepy to proceed.
Where do all of your props and textiles come from?
Either my husband makes them, or they come from a local newborn store that is approximately fifteen minutes from my house. I am lucky to live close to one of the most popular newborn vendors in the country. My wraps, outfits, headbands, bonnets, and sleepy caps come from Estonia, Italy, Russia and the United States. I only use trusted vendors that I know don't use harsh chemicals or pesticides in their yarns, since I want to treat my clients' babies as my own.
Do you ever offer sales?
Do you photograph twins?
Of course! I don't charge extra to photograph twins, as long as I can get extra help from parents with holding. The package pricing and details remain the same even if it does require work. Twins require two of everything, so this is the least I can do to help.
